7 March Superfoods

Why we love it: Honeydew melons, which start coming into season in March, are sweet and juicy. According to WebMD, they're also a great source of vitamin C -- with a wedge providing more than half the recommended daily amount. How to enjoy: First, ripeness is key. WebMD recommends picking a melon that feels "heavy for its size" and with a surface that bounces back when pressed. Once you've selected the right melon, you can simply enjoy it as-is, toss it into a sweet or savory salad or try it in a refreshing spring soup.
